¦ VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE SYSTEM

The VFD System (Variable frequency drive) is a type of Adjustable-speed drive & Electro mechanical drive system combine with switchgears to control AC motor speed & Torque by varying motor input frequency & voltage. It used as final control element of the closed loop control application where the speed of the motor is changed to control one parameter. They are widely used in drilling, pumping and other large machine applications. The VFD panels are widely used in pharmaceuticals, extruder plants, rolling Mills, tube mills, paper mills, cable industry and many other sectors where motors are used. Some of the application is provided with manual speed control of the motors. VFD system is used in open-loop system.
